Disconnection exercise for long outstanding bills will be done tentatively on 12 - 13 December 2018 (Wed - Thu).

We will exercise our rights under Conditions of Supply of Electricity under CLAUSE 6 PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY CHARGES;

6.3  In the event that the Consumer fails to make payment of the amount due as stated in the Bill or the Minimum Monthly Payment, whichever is the higher, within thirty (30) days from the date of presentation of the Bill, the Supplier shall serve a notice, by registered post or delivered by hand to the address of the Consumer as stipulated in Clause 20 stating the reason and the date the supply of Electricity is to be disconnected to the Consumer’s Premises, at least seven (7) Working Days in advance, before the intended disconnection, provided that no disconnection of the supply of Electricity shall be carried out during the eve of weekends or public holidays. Upon the expiry of such seven (7) Working Days the Supplier shall be entitled to disconnect the supply of Electricity to the Consumer’s Premises, provided that the Consumer has not paid the respective amount due.
